At the Bonhams Les Grandes Marques du Monde à Paris auction held in January, things proceeded largely as expected: air-cooled Porsches headed for expectedly substantial returns, along with other top-tier investments such as Bugattis and Ferraris Mixed among the usual array of auction items, though, were several unusual pieces that sparked significant interest and fetched notably high prices.
