Des Moines Airport Set to Resume Nonstop Flights to L.A.
Following Allegiant Air’s announcement earlier this month that they would terminate its continuous seasonal service to Los Angeles From Des Moines International Airport, an additional airline is launching a new non-stop service to America's second-biggest metropolis. American Airlines announced plans for daily flights to Los Angeles International Airport beginning in October. By adding this route, American Airlines will provide direct flights to a total of nine destinations from Des Moines. These include Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C., as well as seasonal trips to Miami and new services heading to Philadelphia starting in June.
