Pittsburgh Nabs Two Finalists for 2025 James Beard Foundation Restaurant and Chef Awards
The nominations for the 2025 James Beard Foundation Restaurant and Chef Awards have been released, with Pittsburgh being included in the list. Pittsburgh is featured in the categories for Best New Restaurant and Humanitarian of the Year Awards. The Fet-Fisk Restaurant and Bar in Bloomfield has been shortlisted as one of the top ten contenders for Best New Restaurant. Although the establishment officially started operations in 2019, it initially operated differently from conventional restaurants. Every Monday night, they organized pop-up dining events throughout the city with entirely fresh menus each time. In 2024, they launch a conventional physical store in Bloomfield.
