49ers Defensive Lineman Sam Okuayinonu Signs Exclusive Rights Tender

The 49ers' defensive lineman, Sam Okuayinonu, has signed his one-year exclusive rights tender contract, as reported by the team on Wednesday.

Okuyinonu was among the seven restricted free agents who were exclusively tendered by the 49ers in February.

Okuyinonu switched back and forth between the practice squad and the active roster.

Last season, he played in 16 games with three starts, participating in 450 defensive plays and 39 special team plays. Okuyinonu recorded a total of 35 tackles, one sack, one defended pass, and one forced fumble.

In the 2022 season with the Titans, his sole additional regular-season experience involved playing six matches where he recorded 11 tackles and a half-sack.
