Exploring New Food and Drink Options at Greater Nevada Field

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A new chef has arrived and brought along a fresh menu to Greater Nevada Field.

On Opening Day, and provided that sufficiently dissatisfied fans do not object, the new food and beverage choices will be offered for the remainder of the season.

"You should savor your meal because you're at the ballpark, and it's shaping up to be a fantastic day," remarked Maurice Palacios, executive chef for the Reno Aces, regarding what inspired his latest menu creation.

Palacios created six new dishes that fans have not encountered previously for 2025.

When we examine them individually, we begin with nachos. You have two choices: either pulled pork or brisket. Every serving comes with three pounds of cuisine designed for sharing.

"You'll get your standard nachos with cheese sauce, crème fraîche—which is just an upscale term for sour cream—and a green salsa that might not be visible at the moment but really enhances the dish," Palacios explained.

The Flocchini Family Provisions from Carson City has introduced their new chorizo hotdog.

This can be found exclusively here," Palacios stated about the uniqueness of the dish at Greater Nevada Field. "It includes sautéed onions and bell peppers along with crunchy fried onions.

For children, there’s macaroni and cheese with either buffalo chicken or brisket.

Disney-inspired choices are also available. At GNF, you can enjoy dairy-free pineapple ice cream known as Dole Whip, along with slow-smoked turkey legs. Once the turkey legs are gone, they won’t be restocked.

This season, vegetarians were not overlooked. Palacios created a delicious veggie burger featuring cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.

"They tried out (the smash burger) on me since I dislike vegetarian dishes and I enjoyed this one. It’s really tasty," stated Palacios.

The prices for these new items vary between $16 and $18.

How about something to sip on? At 50/50 Brewing in Truckee, they've created a new Aceball Ale.

The president of the Reno Aces, Eric Edelstein, talked about the beer.

A smooth and refreshing pale ale perfect for sipping during gaming sessions all through the summertime.

A portion of the proceeds from Aceball Ale goes to support the Reno Aces Foundation.

This spring, you can locate cans at Total Wine and Raley’s.

Aceball Ale will have a price comparable to other beers available at the stadium.
