Hyundai Unveils Its Bold New EV with a Stealthy Charm and a Huge Spoiler
You may have never come across the Hyundai Interstelar; indeed, it’s a compact electric vehicle available in European and Asian markets but not in the U.S. However, we believe you’ll be interested in hearing about its recently unveiled high-performance concept cousin. Known as the Intersterol, this model appears primed for action.
So far, Hyundai has been merely hinting at the Interstellar, sharing murky images—but those photos suggest it looks like something ready for high-speed action. Hyundai announced that it will share more details about its "exciting anomaly in the system" in early April. Although Hyundai isn't showing us glimpses of the interior just yet, the announcement hints that the bold design elements will extend to the interior buttons and instrument panel.
As of now, there’s also no mention of what this concept means for a production version, beyond Hyundai saying it hopes the concept deepens “the emotional connection with the Hyundai brand.” Maybe Hyundai’s pondering the prospect of a tiny, lightweight electric hot hatch.
