A snug cottage previously belonged to Dolly Parton Nestled in a charming Californian mountain community, a property is currently up for sale.
The 1,800-square-foot home at 25300 Pine Crest Ave. The property in Idyllwild (Riverside County) is priced at $768,000.
The chance to possess a fragment of musical heritage arises just under a year since the property was sold for $585,000 by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California.
In 2023, Parton gave away the cozy cabin—which was referred to as an "artist's retreat"—to the nonprofit organization. This occurred in Riverside County. property records show The house was constructed in 1966 and she bought it for $235,000 in June 2000.
While she was based there, Dolly Parton, known for her hit song "9 to 5," would use the cabin with her late husband Carl Dean—who recently passed away—and her mother Avie Lee, who sadly passed away in 2003. This retreat served them well during times when Parton was busy working in Hollywood and frequently traveling between California and Tennessee.
