Ingredients

  • 300g (10.5oz) Dark chocolate / semisweet / bittersweet (or use 330 grams if you prefer)
  • 1 can (400g) Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) Butter

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8-inch (20cm) square baking pan with foil or parchment paper . Grease with butter and set aside.
  2. Chop the chocolate and put it in a medium-sized saucepan . Add the sweetened condensed milk and butter .
  3. Place the saucepan over low heat , cook while stirring frequently until completely melted and incorporated , then proceed with cooking. 2–3 minutes until it slightly thickens .
  4. Pour the mixture into the ready-made pan and evenly spread .
  5. Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours Release from the pan and cut into squares .
