Chocolate Recall Alert: Watch Out for Hidden Pebbles!

A delightful dessert might be accompanied by an unexpected twist.

Tony’s Chocolonely is initiating a recall for two of its best-selling chocolate bars as they might include tiny pebbles that accidentally mixed with the products during the almond harvest and handling process.

The company voluntarily recalled these products on Wednesday, April 2. This action impacts seven batches of their 6.35-ounce Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt Bars and Everything Bars.

The items were made available across the country both at retail outlets and via the firm's website from Friday, February 7th, through Monday, March 24th.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated that 12 consumer reports came from individuals outside of the U.S. and Canada regarding the presence of stones in the problematic bars. There have been no reported injuries.

Customers are urged not to consume the recalled chocolates. They should either bring them back to where they were bought for a full refund or discard them properly. Comprehensive information regarding the impacted batch numbers and the reimbursement procedure is available on tonyschocolonely.com.

None of Tony's other items are impacted by this recall.

The firm has its headquarters in New York City.
