Los Ranchos De Albuquerque Nominated for 2025 James Beard Award

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The James Beard Awards, which are regarded as some of the country’s top accolades, revealed its list of 2025 Restaurant and Chef Award finalists on Wednesday. From an initial group of eight semifinalists, one restaurant from New Mexico advanced to this stage.

The Japanese retail giant Daiso announces an opening date for its inaugural store in Albuquerque.

Campo at Los Poblanos in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque has been shortlisted as one of five finalists for the Outstanding Wine and Beverage Program award, which is a nationwide recognition. This farm-to-table eatery launched in 2017 within the premises of the Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm and uses produce sourced directly from its grounds and nearby farms. Its curated drink menu highlights wines produced in New Mexico alongside selections from around the globe.

The Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program award honors "a dining establishment that shows remarkable attention and expertise in matching wines along with other drinks to dishes," as stated by the organization. James Beard Awards .

Other category finalists include:

  • Bar Brava in Minneapolis
  • Charleston in Baltimore
  • MARCH in Houston
  • Intense H2O in Anaheim, California.

The honorees will be feted at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards event on June 16 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
