New Orleans Inches Closer to Its First Michelin-Starred Restaurant

Gwendal Poullennec, the global director of the Michelin Guides, states, "The cuisine of the American South stands out as a distinctive blend of various influences, giving rise to a celebrated collection of dishes crafted by skilled and renowned cooking experts."
Independent observers are evaluating multiple eateries throughout the southern region. A compilation of the best dining spots in every state should be published later this year.
