Warm Weather Brings Crowds Back to New Haven's Long Wharf

As the temperatures rise in Connecticut, it signals the beginning of the bustling season for numerous food truck operators at Long Wharf. New Haven , and they are all set.

Food trucks at Long Wharf offer a range of cuisine choices from various nations such as Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela.

Damian Morales, who owns a Mexican food truck, expressed his enthusiasm about having more visitors. He noted that weekends tend to attract larger crowds.

Morales peddles Mexican cuisine from his truck alongside his family throughout the year. He mentioned that tacos are the top sellers, closely trailed by quesadillas and burritos.

Despite the bustling days approaching, the refreshing ocean wind did not deter folks from visiting the famous eatery on Wednesday.

Both Emilie and Laura enjoyed sandwiches from Sandwiches El Cubano, which happens to be Emilie’s go-to place.

Emilie mentioned, “I frequent this place quite often. In the past, I worked at the VA located nearby. That’s why I would visit here frequently; whenever I got out of my car, I knew exactly where I was headed.”

Laura stated, 'She has a clear idea of where she’s headed,' adding, 'This is my inaugural visit to this place.'

Aiden, who was also present at the Long Wharf, wholeheartedly embraced fine weather and delicious cuisine.

'I visit this place quite frequently. Being a college student at Sacred Heart, it requires a decent journey to get here. To be honest, everything I've sampled so far has been delicious,' Aiden mentioned.
