2025 ACM Awards Noms Revealed: Rising Star Ella Langley Bags Eight Top Spots

The 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards nominations have just been announced.

Ella Langley, nominated for the first time, tops this year’s list with eight nods, trailed closely by Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Cody Johnson who have been nominated seven times each. Chris Stapleton follows suit with six nominations. Meanwhile, Post Malone and Riley Green secured five nominations apiece.

Wallen, Wilson, Johnson, and Stapleton are all vying for the top honor of Entertainer of the Year, alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, and Jelly Roll.

Langley is nominated for Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year, and she has earned six nods for her collaboration with Riley Green on their song "You Look Like You Love Me."

Should Combs secure Entertainer of the Year honors, he would complete the prestigious Triple Crown Award, encompassing victories in both Entertainer of the Year as well as New Artist and Artist awards within his category (male, female, duo, or group). Previous winners of this esteemed accolade include artists such as Wilson, Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, and Kenny Chesney.

Wilson, the recipient of last year’s Entertainer of the Year award, is slated to take part in the performances at this year's ACM Awards alongside other celebrities such as Blake Shelton and Eric Church.

The 60th ACM Awards will be presented by Reba McEntire, who has won 16 times at the ACMs, and will be streamed live via Amazon’s Prime Video on Thursday, May 8 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time / 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The event will take place at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

The full list of nominations for the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards is provided below. Studio recordings and industry accolades will be awarded during the 18th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors, scheduled for August in Nashville.

The production company behind the ACM Awards, Dick Clark Productions, is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, which is a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge. This entity also has ownership of The Hollywood Reporter.
