Chiefs' CB Nazeeh Johnson Secures Tender Contract

The Chiefs brought back cornerback Nazeeh Johnson, as reported on Thursday by the team.

Johnson, who likewise excels as a key special teamer, was a restricted free agent that the Chiefs had tendered.

In 2022, the Chiefs selected him as a seventh-round draft pick.

As a newcomer, Johnson didn’t secure a spot on the active team but joined the practice squad instead. In 2022, he took part in 11 matches.

He sat out the complete 2023 campaign following an ACL tear during training camp, yet he made his comeback in 2024, playing in 16 games with six of them as starters. Last year, Johnson recorded 56 tackles, one sack, and defended three passes.

Last season, Johnson participated in 494 defensive plays and contributed 163 special team snaps.
