Marvel Unveils the Stunning New Ironheart Suit!
It has been three years since Dominique Thorne was first introduced as Riri Williams/Ironheart in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" released in 2022, and we’re just a few months away from the debut of her standalone series on Disney+.
We’re still awaiting a trailer, but Marvel Television has now unveiled four new images of Thorne wearing the Ironheart suit.

The initial two images focus on close-up views of Thorne suiting up, whereas the subsequent pair depicts her in action as Riri Williams.
Thorne initially brought Riri Williams to life in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," where she emerges as a crucial bargaining tool amidst the geopolitical jockeying among Wakanda, Namor’s (Tenoch Huerta) submerged realm of Talokan, and the United States.
During his time at MIT, Williams develops a device for detecting vibranium, which proves useful in locating the scarce material underwater. When Namor insists that Williams must be handed over to him, Shuri (Letitia Wright) sets out to confront him. Both she and Williams end up being captured by Namor’s troops.
Without considering rumors and speculations, much of our understanding of "Ironheart" comes from the show’s official synopsis: “Following the occurrences in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ Marvel Television presents 'Ironheart.' The series explores the clash between technology and sorcery as Riri Williams (played by Dominique Thorne), an ambitious prodigy who creates innovative iron suits, returns to her origins in Chicago. Despite her brilliance in crafting these advanced armors, pursuing her goals leads her into contact with Parker Robbins—a captivating figure known as 'The Hood' (portrayed by Anthony Ramos).”
In addition to the previously noted talents, the cast will include Lyric Ross from "This Is Us," Alden Ehrenreich who starred in "Solo: A Star Wars Story," Manny Montana known for "Good Girls," Regan Aliyah of "XO, Kitty" fame, Matthew Elam from "The Many Saints of Newark," and Anji White recognized for her role in "Fargo."
Several actors have joined the casting for "Ironheart" in unspecified roles, with one particularly stirring speculation among Marvel enthusiasts about an anticipated antagonist set to make their debut. It’s rumored that Sacha Baron Cohen might take on the role of Mephisto in this upcoming series. In comic lore, Mephisto is a malevolent being known for empowering villains like Hood; thus, his potential inclusion has excited long-time followers of the franchise.
Marvel's series "Ironheart" comprises six episodes and is set to launch on Disney+ starting June 24.
