Scottie Scheffler Returns to Lowcountry to Defend Title
The organizers of the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament have revealed that top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler will be back to retain his championship at this year’s competition.
The golfer is still seeking his initial victory of the season as he recuperates from a hand injury sustained over the holiday period.

Not only is Scheffler coming back to the Lowcountry, but numerous other prominent players will be returning as well.
Matt Fitzpatrick aims to secure another victory at the RBC Heritage, following his triumph over the reigning champion Jordan Spieth in a playoff during 2023.
Akshay Bhatia, holding the 21st spot in the Official World Golf Rankings, is set to compete in his third appearance at the Heritage tournament.
Patrick Cantlay is presently ranked 15th on the Official World Golf Ranking and consistently proves to be a contender at the RBC Heritage.
Max Homa is also participating in his fourth event at Harbour Town.
Justin Thomas is presently ranked ninth on the Official World Golf Ranking, and this will mark his seventh appearance at the Heritage tournament as he aims for victory.
The RBC Heritage tournament begins from April 14 to April 20.
