Waterfront Wednesdays Return: Discover the 2025 Lineup for Free Louisville Concerts!

The biggest unpaid public concert series in Louisville, 91.9 WFPK Waterfront Wednesday has unveiled its 2025 concert schedule. This well-loved six-month-long gathering takes place along the shores of the Ohio River. Waterfront Park starts on Wednesday, April 23 and continues until Wednesday, September 17.

This season's headliners include Paula Cole , Sixpence None the Richer , Anderson East , The Verve Pipe , Ben Sollee , and Chuck Prophet & His Cumbia Shoes .

Whether you're into emerging songwriters, R&B, alternative rock, Memphis soul, or want to experience a Louisville musical highlight, it's all about celebrating music and community this season," stated Stacy Owen, the promotion director at WFPK. The 2025 season likewise includes The Kentucky Gentlemen, Momma , Marzz, Southern Avenue , Kashus Culpepper , Candi Jenkins, Uwade, Maggie Halfman, Relaay , Roadie , Sydney Sleadd and the Insect Horde , and Cam Clark & His Band .

Over its more than two-decade span, Waterfront Wednesday has attracted thousands of visitors to Waterfront Park and assisted Louisville in earning an international accolade as one of the premier cities for festivals. Furthermore, the event has played a significant role in this achievement. Southeast Tourism Society has listed WFPK Waterfront Wednesday among its Top 20 Events. Past performances have featured various artists including Old Crow Medicine Show , My Morning Jacket , Over the Rhine, Todd Snider , Iron and Wine , The Mavericks , The Avett Brothers , and Nappy Roots .

The complimentary concerts occur at this location. Big Four Lawn In Louisville’s Waterfront Park, situated adjacent to the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge, the event kicks off when the lawn becomes accessible at 5 p.m., followed by live music starting precisely at 6 p.m. Visitors can enjoy food truck offerings, browse through vendor booths, and participate in Waterfront KidsDay—an exclusive zone designed for children and their families to engage in interactive activities. This special section will operate between roughly 5 and 8 p.m. throughout every concert series.
