According to Carl, Soft Bar operates as a "mindful consumption bar and café," offering only non-alcoholic beverages. He mentioned, "There’s no guarantee with this venture." However, he added, "I’d prefer to stumble trying for something I genuinely believe in and am enthusiastic about rather than doing nothing at all."
Carl likewise intends to operate Soft Bar's physical store in Greenpoint , a community situated in northern Brooklyn, later this year.

What is the reason behind naming Carl's business as Soft Bar?

However, Carl figured that obtaining the trademark for the name Soft Bar would be impossible, so he decided to go with Present Soft Bar and Café instead—a moniker he admitted was quite “awful.” They then verified with an attorney whether the trademark for Soft Bar had been secured yet, finding out that it indeed had not. Yet, as luck would have it, the trademark happened to expire on the same day as their appointment, allowing them to proceed with the revised title.
"If folks believe that I titled my damn business after Lindsey, and when you listen to all of that, then you must be the insane one,” he finished.
