NBC 10's Dan Jaehnig Leads Fundraising Effort for Rhode Island Food Bank

On Wednesday evening, NBC 10's Dan Jaehnig presided over the Empty Bowls event in collaboration with the Rhode Island Food Bank.

Crafters created handcrafted bowls as mementos of the vacant bowls within the neighborhood.

The funds collected during this event aid the Food Bank in their effort to supply food assistance to around 84,400 Rhode Island residents every month.

Over $200,000 was raised.

The Timber Pizza Company will cover an area of 2,100 square feet within the Market South River Colony shopping complex, where Weis Markets serves as the main anchor tenant.
