MILWAUKEE - When it comes to success, having the right team is crucial. Several Green Bay breweries joined forces to produce a special edition beer in anticipation of the upcoming NFL Draft.

The backstory

Nine Green Bay breweries teamed up to create a brew known as "8th Round Downtown Pale Ale." This collaboration took place at Badger State Brewing, located beneath the shadow of downtown buildings. Lambeau Field .

"The tranquility before the chaos, yet we're fully prepping away," stated Jennifer Radloff, the event director at Badger State Brewing.

"Typically, you only see one other brewery collaborating, perhaps up to three breweries altogether, but having nine is rather intense," she commented.

Producing the beer has been a swift endeavor. The planning kicked off at the end of January. Approximately two weeks afterward, the brewing took place. Canning commenced around mid-March.

"Everyone felt incredibly enthusiastic about participating in the forthcoming community event," Radloff stated.

Cans of 8th Round Downtown Pale Ale will be available for purchase at the Draft City Music Fest They will also be accessible at the taprooms of the nine breweries. Once the NFL Draft concludes, so will the production of the beer.

Each one of us represents far more than just beer," Radloff stated. "Our focus heavily leans towards being community-oriented and we're really enthusiastic about sharing our brews with everyone.
