TinCaps Reveal Team Roster and New Menu Items at Exclusive Showcase

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – On Wednesday evening, the Fort Wayne TinCaps unveiled their 2023 lineup at Parkview Field, giving fans an early look before the season kickoff.

"I'm extremely thrilled. I can't wait to watch them perform," stated Joe Salas, who was present at the event on Wednesday.

Among signing for autographs and exploring the diamond, spectators were given a preview of what was coming up this season.

A blend of salty, savory, and sweet flavors.

"I'm genuinely thrilled about the apple pancakes. We also offer an apple grilled cheese, which is quite intriguing," stated Maley Tinstman, who serves as the VIP Services Manager for the team.

The introduction of these two new items greatly reflects the TinCaps' strong affinity for everything related to Johnny Appleseed.

It's a folded pancake with apple slices and cinnamon. It has everything you could desire," Tinstman stated. "On that Sunday morning, it will really satisfy your cravings.

A new offering will also be a cheese steak burrito, which Tinstman characterizes as "unique," along with the introduction of Cookie Cottage this year.

The group additionally jotted down observations from the Holiday Lights booths and fetched cinnamon sugar pretzels for every single booth.

"That’s going to be a huge success," Tinstman stated.

The signs have been completely redesigned, with each concession stand now featuring a unique color to assist guests. Additionally, new self-service kiosks are being introduced to improve the efficiency of transactions.
